I loved filming/editing this wedding so much! This couple had a Coachella meets the beach vibe at their venue, Casa Romantica in San Clemente. Amanda's turquoise and silver aztec-like accessories paired with Tory's awesome maroon suit and green-toned tropical tie worked perfectly together. Not only did they have rad style, but great taste in music and the most adorable chemistry I could possibly capture.
Hope you guys enjoy this one! Check out their highlight video on my Instagram too - @takeheartfilms

I first met Shay, the gorgeous red haired, crystal blue eyed woman in this video, while filming another client's wedding. Shay was one of my other bride's makeup artists and just happened to be looking for a videographer for her own wedding.
Throughout my emails with Shay and our coffee conversations before her wedding, I got to know a lot about her super sweet personality, her extreme love and support for her daughter, and the way she felt about Eddie. Her excitement for their wedding made me all the more happy to capture it.
Shay + Eddie married eachother on a beautiful day in June amongst friends, family, and their beautiful little children. Shay, Eddie, (little) Eddie, Berlin, and London, excitedly joined together to create a family of five. I almost cried watching them all dance together during Shay + Eddie's first dance. It was the most precious moment ever!
Be warned, this video may cause happy tears :)

When Aimee came to me she said, "I'm in a pickle!" Her wedding videographer fell through and she needed to find a backup stat! Luckily, a friend referred Aimee and Mike to me and I was able to step in just weeks before their wedding.
I was so happy that they were able to find me because their wedding was absolute perfection. Aimee & Michael were married at Our Lady Queen of Angels, a beautiful church with a gorgeous vaulted ceiling and wooden pews. Their reception was also a lovely surprise for me. When I pulled into Rancho Los Lomas, I wasn't sure if I was at a wild animal park or a winery (or both?). It was both awesome and serene. I haven't been anywhere before where there is a wine bar, wild animal park, and a multi level outdoor wedding venue all in one place.
The warmth of their big, but close knit, group of family and friends made for an enjoyable night. My second shooter Josh and I had even been welcomed to sit at one of the family tables during dinner! Needless to say, this blessed couple has a happy life ahead of them! Just watch the video and you'll see what I mean ;)

This video marks a really exciting time in my career. Chrisine & J.T.'s wedding was the first film I made under my own company, Take Heart Films. I was so thrilled they were willing to take the risk with me and let me shoot their wedding.
Christine made the most BEAUTIFUL bride both inside and out. J.T. was stunned when he saw her during their first look, and so was everyone else when they saw her walk down the isle. I was so blessed to film her & J.T. tell each other the sweetest heartfelt vows, and so happy I was able to help capture their day.

Here they are, everyone! The couple that (unknowingly) got me into the wedding industry!
One afternoon at work, Dan Korpman asked if Patrick Yandoc & I would be willing to help capture his engagement on camera. We were so pumped to help out when we heard how he would be asking Danielle to marry him.
His plan was to light over 200 candles on a private beach in Laguna. He set up a small table with two chairs, flowers, and champagne at the end of a long runner laid on the sand. Prior to this sunset evening, he told Danielle that they would be attending a beach party and to dress nice and meet him there after work. When she arrived, it was only Dan Korpman, a small group of friends and family, and three camera people (there was a drone guy too). She was absolutely shocked! After they celebrated and face timed their family members, Dan whisked Danielle away with pre-packed bags on a weekend getaway. HOW ROMANTIC!!
Guys, take notes. This was straight out of the Bachelor.

I have to admit something... I've never cried during someone else's vows until this wedding. My eyes got so teary listening to the emotion in Paige's voice as I heard her tell the story of how she met Chase. I'm a sucker for a good love story, and this one is nothing short of perfect.
I had such an amazing experience filming these two. They were so easy to work with and let me take the untraditional and creative route on their wedding video. I think that's why this video has become one of my favorites! Turns out it has become a favorite for a lot of my clients as well and I have this beautiful couple to thank for that!
Justin Vasquez played a huge part in helping me film this video and has such a great eye for the perfect shot! Stoked I get to work with this guy from time to time. I highly recommend him as a photographer!
