True Stories About Domestic Violence

Making videos to change lives, it's truly what God has called me to do. When a nonprofit organization reached out to me about a message they wanted to tell the world, I jumped in with both feet, right away.

Domestic violence is a scary and real thing that is happening all around us. So many people don't know or see the signs of it and this nonprofit wanted to open eyes to the real truth. This video is so important because you, or someone you know, may be experiencing some of these things and there are options and ways to get help. I'm so glad I was able to be a part of such a big project that can truly change and SAVE lives.

Midori Lifestyle Video

The idea for this video sprouted when Rachel, from Midori Bikinis, reached out to me a few years after we'd previously met. She hadn't realized that the video company she reached out to was owned by the same girl (me) who had once interviewed her for a personal blog back in the day. Once we put everything together, we realized that it was going to be an amazing project for both of us.

Rachel told me her vision for the video: Girls visiting the Midori headquarters in La Jolla, San Diego, for a day of fittings, fun, and surfing. I was onboard with everything immediately! I knew a video of this caliber would need some serious talent, so I hired my good friend JJ to help shoot, and my bestie Erika to help style.

Together, we pulled together some AMAZING models for the shoot. These girls gave 100% all day shooting, and even had enough energy stored by 6PM that day for an on camera sunset surf.

I can't say enough good things about this team & I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat.

I love helping out with videos for my church whenever I can. Newport Church has such a fresh perspective on how to bring people together. I also LOVE this creative team & the visions they have for video ideas.

Josh Legurn, the creative team lead, had a fantastic idea to film all ages/stages of life at the church during their life group gatherings. I think together, we were able to capture the true moments that make life groups so special.

Cole's CHOC Story

When team Payoff partnered up with CHOC (Children's Hospital of Orange County), a lot of our team members were really excited to celebrate all that CHOC has done for some of the families. Multiple parents at Payoff have had their child's life saved or aided by CHOC and are so grateful for their commitments and efforts.

Cole's story is especially moving. Coles parents invited our media team into their home and let us capture their story on camera. It still gives me goosebumps whenever I watch it and I am so happy that this family can celebrate the success of their son & CHOC today.

I've never met someone who has a passion for what they do like Natalie Flowers. This beautiful and driven woman knows what she wants in life and she is a prime example of someone who chased their dreams and made them come true. I loved working with Matt Wilson & Natalie Flowers as they shared their success stories with me. Their lives are proof that hard work pays off.

I know all you football fans out there gear up for Super Bowl Sunday way before the big day. That's why the creative team at Payoff made this video! This silly Instagram video depicts what it's like to sit next to a super-fan at the office. You all know that guy or gal right? ;)

During an employee photoshoot for Payoff, set up by Patrick Yandoc & Lina Romeo, I pulled out my camera to shoot some behind the scenes footage of everyone having a little fun! We pulled out all the stops when it came to this photo shoot. Endless props, light painting on camera, and even a bubble machine (not shown in this video)! I had so much fun creating this montage video of the Payoff Team.

Sisterhood - Newport Church

Sisterhood is a weekly service for women held by Newport Church.

As part of the creative team at my church, I sometimes help out on our video team! This video was a BLAST to create alongside Andrew Strelecki, who does a ton of great work for Newport Church. The lovely Bre Wierenga and Jess Broncyzk were the talent for this video. They did an amazing job running around Victoria Beach while we filmed this promo for Sisterhood. We even made them jump in the ocean with their clothes on! Sometimes you just gotta get the shot you know? :)
